webquest and links

Today, you will visit Office Depot Espana. (Spain)http://www.viking.es/ and shop for a number of the items on our vocab list. All of the links to the websites are on my blog at www.senorahaglund.blogspot.com

You have $125.00 AMERICAN DOLLARS. You need to buy your items in EUROS, which is the currency in Spain. The website lists the prices in Euros and they use commas. Use periods instead of commas in the convertor at http://www.xe.com/

Shop for as many items from our vocab list (found in your folder or on my blog) for $125 US dollars. Add them to your cart (ANADIR AL CARRO). When you are done shopping you will click “CARRO DE LA COMPRA” . Print this last page, circle your total in Euros and then write the total in dollars next to it.

Many countries have different words for items...some may say “basura” while others may say “papelera”...in the BUSCAR box (search) type in the following and find them...add these to your cart, or carro, for extra credit. Circle them as to bring them to my attention.
